On the 23rd of June at 2:37pm, a network connectivity issue caused by our cloud provider resulted in our database cluster becoming inaccessible from the MYP platform. At 3:10pm, after following our standard policies and processes, we failed over to our secondary database which resulted in the system becoming available with zero data loss. We are continuing to better understand the course of events and working with our cloud provider to determine how to prevent this happening in the future.
